How did the grain challege go? I stumbled upon your blog today & it looks like your wrote this post about 3 monhts ago. I'm a carb addict. I like crunchy/grainy things & giving up grains essentially pulls me away from some major comfort foods. I've managed to switch to eating all whole grains from processed, refined foods...and that switch wasn't as hard as I expected, but I've found "whole grain" substitutions at Trader Joes and Whole Foods. Taking out grains entirely seems extreme, but I too, have energy problems, 20 extra pounds & fatigue. I'm curious to know what your experience was like and how you are doing now.

I took out whole grains a long time ago--so worth it! I think it helped me with my weight as well as energy level, and my digestive system is a LOT happier. I am eager to hear how it goes for you! Good luck:)
